Computer-Based Training
Computer-based training (CBT) is becoming increasingly popular. Although in the short-term, development costs may be higher than traditional instructor-led training methods, it is often more economical in the long-term. Individuals can learn at their own pace, at times that suit them and can revisit any topic to refresh their learning. Research has shown that training using multimedia reinforces the learning process and improves information retention.
Satorio can design and build interactive courses and tutorials to be delivered on CD-ROM, DVD or over the Internet. Interactive challenges can be incorporated to test the user's newly acquired knowledge. Performance can be tracked, feedback given to the user and even results passed to a training administrator. For truly immersive multimedia experiences, training courses can contain any combination of media (e.g. text, images, audio, animations, video, links to other resources).
